Report on the Activities of the Chair during the Year 2016-2021

This report presents the activities of the C. H. Mohammed Koya Chair for Studies on Developing Societies, University of Calicut, covering the period from 2017 to 2022. Sponsored by the Grace Educational Association, the Chair continued its mission of promoting research, academic excellence, and public discourse on social, educational, and developmental issues. Throughout these years, it organized seminars, memorial lectures, workshops, orientation programmes, research methodology sessions, discussions on secularism, social justice, public health, women’s empowerment, creative and academic writing, NAAC accreditation, and UGC-NET coaching. The report also highlights commemorative events honoring C. H. Mohammed Koya and other distinguished personalities, along with the Chair’s contribution to supporting research scholars through its academic resources and library facilities. Additionally, it includes details of the Chair’s staff and administrative structure as of 2021.
